A published writer, sometime artist, and retired teacher I enjoy living in Vancouver. I love theatre, movies, classical (and other) music, spending time with friends. I’m a bit on the shy side. When you get to know me, I think you’ll find I have a good sense of humour. Most of my life I lived in Alberta so walking along the beach here in Vancouver is still a treat for me. With retirement I’ve been able to do more traveling (cruises in the Mediterranean and trips to L.A., Santa Fe, New York). Still many places I would like to experience. Appearance: fairly average in build and height; silvery-white hair; blue eyes. I’m hoping to meet someone of independent means with some common interests who values a monogamous relationship. An ideal fit would be someone who likes to visit over a home-cooked meal and a glass of wine (or a special dinner out); who’s happy sharing a sofa and popcorn while watching something on Turner Classic Movies; who enjoys chatting about what we’ve been reading. I’m an incurable romantic—so expect flowers and chocolate.
