I'm in the 2nd half of my 50's and am at that time of my life where I can look to expand my outlook and share experiences with others who (hopefully) will become friends and hopefully more.



I love chatting, I love exploring new ideas, I love making new friends ...and sometimes it's just nice to sit back and chill with a nice glass of chilled wine (white or red) and watch the world pass by.



I have now lost enough weight to be able to say that I am officially overweight (as opposed to obese - lol). I am back at the gym as often as I can - especially as I have just discovered the joys of running 5 and 10k races (well, to be truthful, running may be a bit of an exaggeration). I am also just learning yoga - still very much a beginner but I hope it all pays off and I can live into a flexible old age...

In the night sky, some stars may appear to be more luminous than others, but it's the perspective of the distances which separate them that create this illusion. We're all bright in our own way, and to compare these degrees of light is often to trivialize ourselves - and consequently life - in an arbitrary and relative way.
