For most of my life, I considered myself a "liberal", mainly because Gay rights are considered left wing. But I've finally come out as a Conservative and my views are fairly to the right, except, of course, for Gay rights. I love going out for coffee with friends. Some of the best times of my life have been hanging out with a bunch of friends at some coffeehouse chatting about things effecting our lives, or just about a good movie we've seen or a good tv program we recently watched. Just the camaraderie is so important to my life. Would love to meet new friends to go to a coffeehouse or other watering hole with this Spring.

MY PERFECT FIRST DATE: Well, he would be fairly tall, a bear, with a full beard or goatee. Sexy eyes and a beautiful smile. And we've been communicating over the internet and telephone for a while to get to know each other before actually meeting. He gets my humor and I get his. We meet at a local gay coffeehouse or warehouse district watering-hole to decide which movie we will go see. We may decide to rent a favorite film and stay in, ordering a really good pizza. If we go to a movie theatre, we will sit next to each other and our arms and knees will touch. Grab something at Perkin's or a Mocha Frappaccino at Starbucks afterward. If there's actually a romantic feeling there, we will decide after the film to go out again the next day and, hopefully, make out a little before going to our respective homes.

A strong physical chemistry is a must for there to be any romance.
