| Je me décrirais comme | What is the best way to describe myself? Well let's see: I am an introverted, video-game loving, book-reading geek. I am a fairly nice, friendly guy once you get past my somewhat biting sarcasm. I enjoy hanging out with a small group of friends more than I do being around large crowds of people. Though I am essentially a nice guy, I do tend to harbour some villainous tendencies such as entertaining plans to conquer the world and to destroy 'Moose and Squirrel' (that's a Rocky and Bullwinkle joke, in case you missed it). Seriously, when faced with a tense or highly emotional situation I typically start running in what I call "logical bastard" mode. It tends to give me a bad rep with people who see that side of me before they get to know me. Tucked somewhere under all that sarcasm, just beneath the emotionally frosty exterior, is the piece of me I call the "Old Sage". That's the guy that always ends up doling out helpful advice or just a friendly ear whenever my friends need it. But I'm not the kind of person you come to when you want to hear something to make you feel better. I'm the kind of person you come to when you want the truth. I tend to encourage people to confront problems rather than gloss them over with pretty words. |
