I am a 41 yo GWM in the Law Enforcement profession. I am looking to meet goal oriented people who are not into the usual mind games and who are overall negative people. I meet enough people with no goals and no ambition in my line of work, so I try to avoid having those type of people in my everyday life. I am a hard worker but not so much that I don't know how to have fun. My last relationship (almost 2 years) ended when he came home and told me "It's not you, it's me". A short time later, I found out it was him and not being able to be faithful. Honesty and loyalty in a relationship is very important to me. I want to find someone who wants a LTR and isn't afraid to work for it. I would welcome the opportunity to meet someone who tells you they are committed to you and actually mean it. I have had my share of heartbreak, as has many others I'm sure. As corny as it sounds, I am hoping to finally be able to find Mr. Right. I also want to use this opportunity to meet new friends who can appreciate me for the kind hearted person I am (unless provoked otherwise) LOL!!! I am a proud father of two (a son and a daughter) who live with their mother in Georgia. These are the two most important people in my life. They are the only ones who have loved me unconditionally. I hope to change that by meeting the right man. Friends tell me that "love will find you when you least expect it". As of right now, I don't expect anything but to meet people with life long goals, ambition, and a love for life. The club scene is not for me, as I feel that there is only one reason most guys go there. I do (on rare occassions) go with a group of friends when I feel stressed and just want to dance my troubles away. Again, this is so few and far between. My few close friends have stood by me through thick and thin. I feel in life we have a select few people we can actually call friends, while all others are merely acquaintances. If nothing else, I hope to meet some quality "friends" through this.
