The first thing for me is for the man to be natural, relaxed, not forced or pretense. I know it can be tough/ackward at first, but just be yourself. Love to be asked on the first date. He would pick the restaurant, maybe his favourite or one that he has been waiting to try. I love the old fashioned manners, opening of doors etc. A nice candle lit dinner, good food, conversation and ease of it all, no pressure, just being relaxed and comfortable.
